Show Notes

  1. ASK QUESTIONS as often as you can – whether to get to know your athlete, to highlight potential issues in the future or just to establish your own base knowledge.
  2. Take opportunities early to gain experience and learn about yourself – what do you like and dislike about an industry?
  3. Track cycling is more complex than just “GO FAST” – there is a balance between aerobic, anaerobic and neuromuscular loads that needs to be prepared for.
  4. When you start working with an athlete or a sport, FIRST figure out what are the characteristics and demands of that sport for this athlete.
