Show Notes

  1. Prior knowledge makes every model better. While this may sound obvious, it cannot be stressed enough: feeding models with your historical training data makes the outputs far more relevant and personalized. That’s exactly what Athletica is designed to do wink.

  2. “Work” isn’t always what it seems. In endurance training, we often refer to “work” as a simple physics calculation—but the body doesn’t play by those rules. Mechanical and metabolic work are not interchangeable, and assuming they are can lead to big errors in interpretation.

  3. Not all joules are created equal. Andrea explains why the quality of the work you do—intensity, context, fatigue state—matters just as much as the quantity. This perspective underpins his creation of Workout Reserve, a new way to track real-time performance capacity.
