Show Notes

  1. Practical knowledge from the field is useful, but it needs over time to be followed up with data to explain what is actually happening in our bodies
  2. Implementing established methods is always down to how the athletes seem themselves and their peers in their sport – don’t compare yourself to what other are doing
  3. Running slow and running far are far from the only things that Dr Maffetone has worked on! Working across almost every sport, he did get to coach and support athletes much more than just basic endurance 😉
  4. Being healthy is essential to every person, including athletes. An athlete should never gamble their health for unsustainable performance gains.
