  • ALL HIIT session will always stimulate SOME PART of the aerobic target / aerobic system
  • Even team sport athletes can be LIMITING themselves if they do not develop an “appropriate” AEROBIC endurance base>
  • Most athletes associate “hard” with anything related to the words “anaerobic” or “lactate” – considerations for how important the choice of language is (or even how much “disclosure” of what the session is about is necessary)
  • Neuromuscular targets and loads can be CENTRAL to many (team) sports. It is crucial to not only consider the requirements of the sports, but potential effects of all the other sessions that need to be done in a “mixed” / concurrent training design.
