  1. Finding a training system that works for an athlete can take a lifetime, but will require a large flexibility in attitude and a breadth of knowledge that allows us to consider that different methods may work
  2. Most successful athletes will point towards THEIR system as being the best one – obviously. Following the 0.1% of a population based on that for your own training is not likely to progress yourself in the long-term.
  3. No one really knows what little bit of training works where and when with top level athletes. It will require courage and an investigative mindset to try what works with who – PLUS, time!
  4. What you LOAD your body with is not the same as how your body RESPONDS to that load. One leads to the other and the complexities run quite deep!
