- You need to run fast often to get fast – BUT you do not NEED to run MAXIMAL all the time.
- Skill and coordination (i.e. stride frequency & length) with LIMIT your MAXIMAL VELOCITY FIRST.
- You need to consider MAXIMAL SPEED TRAINING in the context of each individual athlete – especially if you are working with little time.
- Very little EVIDENCE and data exists for the maximal sprinting speed – thus, you will need to adapt a lot from practical evidence.
