Show Notes

  1. Be the coach you would like to have yourself, or you would have liked to have had when you were an athlete.
  2. Try to be a student of the game/sport – whether you are an athlete or not, try to play it, run it, cycle it – do it at your own level to see how it feels.
  3. Testing needs to be consistent first, and consistent second. That is it, everything else is usually fluff.
  4. The wellbeing of your athlete should be at the core of everything you do. For those not in the know: most wellbeing models consider the PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL and SPIRITUAL health.
