- It is easy to get lost in “interesting” questions – but for impactful research you want to work directly with EVERYONE in the team (players, coaches, staff etc.) to what THEY NEED.
- Build a LASTING structure for your organization. If you are truly curious after IMPROVING your “in-house” knowledge bank, then you need to have systems in place when certain individuals move onto other projects.
- It is ok to NOT buy into the big hype of academic development and research. Outsourcing investigative questions and research projects to established organizations is MORE THAN WELCOME if you are after specific results in a valid and quick way.
