  1. It is ok to be a failed athlete. You can still aim for <3 hour marathon in your 50’s!
  2. A COMBINATION of physiological parameters (VO2max, economy, thresholds etc.) will give you the MOST complete picture + showcase your WEAKNESS.
  3. Nutrition is still underrated – even IN TOP ATHLETES.
  4. Mental barriers still exist.
  5. An analytic and science based approach can find MAJOR issues early on (see Paula Radcliffe’s example).
