Remember: HIGH intensity (like ALL intensities) has a RANGE. It is not simply “all-out” – it never has been! It is completely fine to repeat your intervals at “high intensity” just at the borders of some of the upper zones.

AND if you are wanting MORE: even the “highest” intensities have a range. Even here at HIIT Science we rarely prescribe or recommend using “MAXIMAL” intervals – DESPITE their popularity in social media.
