Make sure that you are always putting yourself into the background. Whether it is training, communications, prehab, rehab, performance, whatever. The players come first, and if you can build proper rapport, and utilise THEIR strengths and GOALS well, you can gain all the other things YOU want for the team.

Make sure to ADAPT training schedules all the time to the various environmental factors. Cold, hot, humidty, eleveation, time-zone change etc. – it ALL matters, and you cannot expect each of your players to just “work” through it.
