With HIIT Science, you get the real deal. We distill the essence of HIIT workouts and research, ensuring that every piece of information is practical, comprehensible, and directly applicable to coaches.
A Collaborative Community
How We Got Here
Paul Laursen and Martin Buchheit, the brains behind HIIT Science, are renowned experts in high-intensity interval training. Their journey began as self-proclaimed “failed athletes.” While they might not have been prodigious athletes, they realized that superior training methods could give them an edge. This revelation fueled their insatiable thirst for exercise science and human performance knowledge.
As eminent researchers and professors, Paul and Martin always strived for excellence. Their collaborative masterpiece, “The Science & Application of High-Intensity Interval Training”, stands as a testament to their dedication. Recognizing the need for a more immersive learning experience, they subsequently launched a series of HIIT courses.
Today, HIIT Science is a thriving global community. We bridge the gap between theory and practice, guiding coaches in honing their HIIT techniques. Our mission? To ensure athletes are trained smarter, leveraging a deep understanding of human physiology to achieve unparalleled performance.
