Dr. Carl Petersen PhD, CSCS

Senior Lecturer / Strength and Conditioning Coach, School of Health Sciences, University of Canterbury, New Zealand

BIO
My PhD involved using GPS devices to collect data from international and first class cricketers to understand the game movement demands by the various positions, competitive levels, and also by the various game formats. This work resulted in a series of papers which allowed us to compare the training demands to the actual game demands, and enabled us to understand the influence HIIT training can have in conditioning cricketers.
